NOT DEAD YET;
They escaped the wraith ship and returned to Atlantis
All Colonel John Sheppard could think was Thank God, Not Dead Yet
They escaped from the villages who wanted a sacrifice for the new moon to protect their technology and keep them safe from the Wraith.
Thank God, Not Dead Yet
They escaped from the Wraith Worshippers
Thank God, Not Dead Yet
They escaped from the rebel fighters
Thank God, Not Dead Yet
They escaped from the alien entity that had tried to kill them all within Atlantis itself.
Thank God, Not Dead Yet
He escaped from some backwater civilization that didn’t even know what 2+2 was, let alone the answer. Yet, these primitives had been able to do what no-one else had.
With low tech arrows and slingshots they had stilled his body and quietened his voice and stopped his mind. And the quiet roared in John’s ears, echoed through his body and ripped his soul apart. This time when they escaped to Atlantis carrying the body of Doctor Rodney Mckay, Keller certified him dead.
John’s body still moved, his chest rose and fell with every breath. His heart beat, it ached and twisted with every beat, but beat it did and if you asked anyone they would have told you that Sheppard lived. They were wrong.
He ran through the wraith ship, shooting all he found, never waiting for back up, taking risks. He was victorious
Damn it! Not Dead Yet
He flew the Jumper at the darts, always aiming for the tightest knot of them, always flying alone, always returning alive.
Damn it! Not Dead Yet
He faced down the beasts in the forest that threatened his team. They must have sensed danger in him, the death in him because they backed down and left his team alone. Again he survived.
Damn it! Not Dead Yet
He’s going to follow Rodney into the dark. He can’t leave him there alone. Rodney will never forgive him if he takes his own life, so he is trying to force fate’s hand. Colonel John Sheppard. Still in so much pain and Not Dead Yet… but he’s trying.
