ooo, there's the picture! And it's perfect! Where is the yard? (what state?) We occasionally get turkeys in our yard here in NJ, but I've never seen them in winter.

Southeast New Hampshire, up in the Lakes region. It's mostly forest up and around my parents' place, so there's quite a bit in the way of wild life. I think they band together in larger flocks during the fall and winter, because there seem to be a lot more of them now than there were during the summer.

They do that everywhere, but especially in places where they have to scrape away the snow.

So, who are your parents going to vote for?*g*

*looks at 30" snowpack* That is a lot of scraping.

They haven't decided yet! :D My dad is a registered Democrat and I think he's leaning toward Clinton, but my mom is registered Independent, so she's still trying to decide on a candidate so she can go, register temporarily with the party, and vote. It's definitely not Huckabee or Romney, though... mention either of those names in the house and my dad strokes out immediately, my mom a few seconds after.

Did you see this: The GOP Primary Field as BtVS Villains? Romney === The Mayor. *Scary*

Scarily accurate. Maybe we are all merely puppets in Whedon Joss's fantasies.

Also, this is pretty damn fabulous.
