Title: You're missing, and I hate you
Author: Midvacent
Rating: G
Pairing: Mcshep
Summary: I will walk the empty halls alone
Type: Poem
A/N: Thank you to the lovely Natasie, my friend and confident, for always being there.

You’re missing, and I hate you.
I hate you for it; I'm here and you're gone,
And I’m just supposed to carry on?
So I will wait, nervous, tense.
I’ll talk until I don’t make sense.

You're not here, and I miss you.

You’re missing, and I hate you.
I will look and search for an answer,
I will work to find you until I die of cancer.
I’ll write the patterns on the wall,
Pour my heart out in an untidy scrawl.

You're not here, and I want you.

You’re missing, and I hate you.
You and I spent all our time here,
But you just refuse to reappear.
So I'll walk the empty halls alone,
Wishing and hoping that you will come home.

You’re not here, and I need you.

You’re missing, and I hate you.
I hate you have to play the hero,
And leave me with just my ones and zeros.
You play the champion and fade away,
Tonight I actually prayed that you would see another day.

You're not here, and I think... I love you.

Please, just please, come home.
