I liked this. Off-beat and definitely not what I was expecting, either. Very nice and thought-provoking.

Thank you. Humans usually don't like thought-provoking stories. *laughs*

Yah. Poor indeed - it stinks to be stuck somewhere with people you need to take shower after every time you spoke to them. *grins*

Wow.

I love this.

I don't know which hits harder, Zelenka & Lorne and who and what they are here, or what it means for the rest of the characters we think of as "the good guys."

Well, I had to pick up those characters who didn't do anything stinky. I mean, not yet. And it gets harder and harder, you know. In season 3 even Wraith are trashy. ;-)

Dr. Korzcak in the Warsaw Ghetto during WWII, right?

You probably the only one who knows that and watches SGA at the same time.

Ouch. Still trying to get it off your chest, are you?

I like this, though. You know I don't share all those views, but it's an intriguing story, and being German, references to the holocaust always make for a flinch. And the underlying mood is nicely depressing. Thank you for sharing. :)

Well, it wasn't meant for you to read, my dear (as always). :)

My grandpa was POW during WWII, and only thing he ever told us about Germans that they are rational, very clean people and they are no thieves (unlike Russians) - qualities highly prized in my family.

And this story is not about Holocaust. I think Dr. Goldszmit did what he did not because he was Ashkenazi, or not against that fact, but because there're people out there who... how to put it... equal to God? (I hate such people).

My problem with SGA is not that they portray dirty moral choices as normal ones, but that they show it to auditorium that has no clue what they're actually seeing. I have my shields (nothing anyone would do or say would make me believe that stealing, or (insert word here) is right). But many kids don't. It so disgusting to do something like that to the children! That drives me positively crazy.
