I hope you will take it as a compliment if I tell you I don't envision this as part of the Star Wars universe, but as some kinky holosuite game that John and Rodney are playing.

Oh, man. I am so glad you went there, because I'd been wondering if anyone was going to go with the ultimate space opera or not, and I was almost desperate to write it myself. But! You saw the void and filled it. :) Thank you.

Additionally, I'm kinda in love with Rodney, the Crankiest Jedi. And this line made me cackle:

"I think I saw this in a confiscated holovid once," Rodney said faintly to the ceiling.

In short: Star Wars + SGA + Shalott = hurrah!

It's nice to see Star Wars fanfic without the requisite extra-large helpings of angst, you know? Small amounts, OK.

She said, "Is that the Sith Lord?" doubtfully, eyeing Sheppard, who was busy and not looking up at the moment.
"No," Rodney said, "well, yes, but no, he's not anymore, and-and would you mind?"
She sighed and put her lightsabers away. "You humans are such prudes. Is there anything to eat?"
