Oh, I liked that. I like the use of Lorne's perspective, and the fact that they came through the gate thinking like they were on a mission. Awesome.

Thank you very much! I kept wondering what they would be like coming back after all that time and all they had gone through. It just made sence to me that they would not be so trusting anymore.

I like that. You can't go home again, as they say.

You have a brake/break typo in there, however. Break the laws of physics, don't brake them.

Fabulous viewpoint of the Atlantis heads coming back to Earth. My favorite part? This:

“General O’Neill sir? I think you might be needed…..bring Doctor Jackson… Yes sir….that’s right sir….. Just as you thought sir…yes sir, first contact sir….I wouldn’t say feral exactly sir, more…guerrilla I think…….”

Feral. That's visceral and basic place to be and the Atlantis Expedition is sooo there.

Thank you! That is my favorite part also and oddly enough was an add on at the last minute to this story. I am happy now I went with it. I agree with you. They are sooo there. You don't just walk out of a year long life or death war zone and struggle for basic survival where almost everything and everyone is trying to kill you, steal from you or eat you like you are stopping in at mom's house on a sunday afternoon to say hi. It just doesn't work like that.

Creative idea! I can so see them not trusting the whole going back to earth thing.
