Ok, seriously flailing with love, here. Thank you so much for writing for my birthday! And you wrote about my home town! Aww.

Loved so many little things about this--the weather is classic Denver in June, with the quick storms and the hail. I love especially how the sun stays out during these little flash storms. And hiding under an overpass 'til it's over.

The language of Rodney being even more foreign than Ancient, but John gets it without words anyway. *meep*

But, oh, Rodney's hands. *flailsquee* So much love for Rodney's big hands. Guh. I love the comparison of John's being headfirst to Rodney's hand-first. Because he IS! With the flapping and the snapping, the fluttering fingers and pointing and taking things apart and putting them back together.

The storms are something I miss about the Western US--we get thunderstorms on the East Coast too, but nothing beats those big, dark, violent storms that come out of nowhere in the huge skies out West. I need another cross-country road trip.

Well, I never got a gift fic before, so I'm pretty excited. :D

The weather is one of the things I love most about living here. Four distinct seasons with the occasional WTF weather day thrown in and 300 days of sun a year. I couldn't imaging living anywhere else!

It is very sad, I only have one SGA icon. I snagged a few from places but haven't uploaded yet. And I don't I've grabbed any hand-porn ones. The closest I have is this David Thewlis one.
