Wow! That was just stunning! I think you captured the essence of sleep deprivation perfectly!

Mmm... yes. Very nice. I really like post-Siege, Rodney's fucked up with sleep deprivation (and John's near-suicide) fics. Partially because it's one of those (many) things they didn't really address in the show. We got to see him stumbling around tired, but I doubt it would have been easy for him to get to sleep after all of that. Thanks for tackling it.

I'm glad you liked this! Rodney goes through so much trauma of so many varieties during the three episodes of Seige that it really has to catch up with him sometime. It was really interesting to think about what they would look like.

his was wonderful! I love the way you catch both the exhaustion and franticness of rodney, the way he's angry with and desires john, and the way he cannot see what john's trying to do yet john somehow hs enough perseverence to try to figure it out.

this was really great! thank you!

Yay! I'm so glad you liked this. There's so much that happens during the three episodes of Seige. It was really interesting to think about what the aftermath would be like.

I love how even when Rodney knows he's acting crazily, there still enough deceptive normality that he'll forget, and we'll forget, and then he's gone again, lost and jesus, John growling about him being the only one? Guh.

But that last line killed me. God.

I'm glad the last line worked for you! I seriously debated whether it might be too sappy or not, but in the end, I had to go with my heart. :)
