This was fun to write. And research (I stole this from the plot of an actual romance novel. That I found online. And I don't own or want.)

This is lovely! I have a serious weakness for courting fics, and you did a really good job.

One typo I caught: "Appointment. Whatever. John straightened up and put the cup of markers on Rodney's desk again. He winked.

You should definitely write more SGA- you really got Rodney with this line: He left the lab at 6PM - after all, the only things left to do could be done by any idiot, so he knew his staff was qualified.

Rodney is *fun* to do, once you realize that A. he thinks stream of consciousness, B. Needs to believe he's smarter than everyone else and C. Has his brain directly wired to his mouth.
