Fic: Reperti (Chapter 8)

Warnings: This story features minor spoilers to Stargate Atlantis novels and is post series, slightly AU as it features Daniel Jackson as Atlantis' new leader (as hinted as a possibility in Book 1 of the Legacy series). There is little to no Jennifer Keller (I personally don't care for the character so there will be a lot more Carson. This is no means a slight to those who do like her. Just my personal opinion.)
Summary: Atlantis returns to the PG and new discoveries and some unexpected surprises await. Sometimes what one needs really isn't that far away from home as one thinks.
Author Note: Special thanks to mysra for her wonderful beta work and cheerleading in helping me when I hit a wall. She was an exceptional lifesaver on this chapter because the bunnies had for some reason stopped fornicating as they had. I couldn't help but think that they've slipped into menopause. I think I may need to look into plot!rats since they reproduce just as frequently, perhaps moreso.
