ok, so, I don't LOVE this one, just the opposite in fact. Here it is, then follows is the reason I hates it, my preciousses.....

WEIR: Ronon. Could I have a word?

(Ronon hands the knife to another soldier.)

DEX: Here. (He walks over to Elizabeth as the soldiers continue practising what he has been teaching them.)

WEIR: I understand Major Sheppard extended an invitation to you to join his team. [Transcriber's note: yes, she really does say “Major”!]

DEX: Yeah, he did.

WEIR: Well, he was supposed to speak to me about that first. (She smiles at him.)

DEX: OK.

WEIR: Look, it's not that I don't trust you, or value any contributions you may have to make, or that you will make if you do join us -- it's just it is a rather big decision. (She waits for Ronon to comment but he just looks at her.) So how do you feel?

DEX: I'm thinkin' about it.

WEIR: OK, good! Well, I'm thinkin' about it too. So I guess we'll just keep in touch, then?

DEX: OK. (He turns and walks back to the soldiers, who are still practising his moves.)

Ok, me here again. And really, woman? You just fought tooth and nail to have the "MAJOR" promoted so he could stay CO in Atlantis and you conveniently forgot this new promotion when addressing someone who would be directly in under John's chain of command if he chooses to stay on? Bugs me!

So this just proves my point why I really don't care for Weir. I found this exchange to be very unprofessional. But I found her to be that way much of the time. I have no clue what they were thinking putting her in charge of an expedition this size and of this importance. Seriously.
And she's what? ... Like supposed to be around 35 at this point. Though I honestly thought she was SOOO much older (another reason she would never have been together with Shep. He was so young at heart).

But I do have to say I loved this ep because I thought Rodney arguing with Cadman in his head was the biggest hoot ever!! Kind of reminded me of the SG-1 ep Urgo where they were all talking to 'Urgo' but no one else could hear them. One of my favorite SG-1 eps ever!!!

Oh, Cadman! I do so love Cadman. :)

This exchange right here is one of my favorites between McKay and her:

McKAY: Pants! Where are my pants?

CADMAN's VOICE: They're over on the chair.

(Rodney starts to get up, then stops and pulls the sheet around his body.)

CADMAN's VOICE: Seen it!

McKAY: We have gotta set some boundaries!

CADMAN's VOICE (giggling): Yeah, I'm sorry about that. I'm kinda used to sleeping in the buff.

McKAY: You have crossed a line here, Cadman.

CADMAN's VOICE: I guarantee it was more traumatic for me.

Exactly! Yes, Sheppard asked her to talk to him, but I don't think that's the conversation he had in mind. Totally unprofessional and RUDE!!! Put Ronon in such an awkward spot. UGH!

Yeah, and what's up when she says, "OK, good! Well, I'm thinkin' about it too. So I guess we'll just keep in touch, then?

"We'll keep in touch." ????? Huh?? Are you going somewhere?? And what is she thinking about? She doesn't tell him if she has concerns or if she thinks it's a good idea or make herself look like any kind of actual leader who knows how to make decisions. Auuggh! So Wishy washy!

Give me John and Teyla anyday!!

I'm wondering if that was scene that was just thrown together at the last minute, because it made NO sense whatsoever. The one saving grace was Ronon. I adored the fact that Ronon wasn't giving her an inch. With how she was acting, she didn't deserve one.
