Category of the fics you'd beta: Humor/ Drama/ Team/ Slash/ Gen/ Het/ Threesome/ Mpreg/ Crossover-depending on the fandom - if I don't know the fanfom I'll still beta I'll just have to be the basics.
Category of the fics you won't beta: Fluff/ Deathfic/ BDSM/ Non-con/
Pairing of the fics you'd beta (if applicable): Carson, Rodney John, Lorne, or any combination therin is fine. I will beta other pairings, you just gotta tell me ahead of time.
Pairing of the fics you won't beta (if applicable): Not really fond of the evil characters
If not pairing oriented, character fics you'd beta: most anything, give me and idea about what it is that I'm reading.
If not pairing oriented, character fics you won't beta: Not really fond of fics that don't have the main characters at all.
Type of beta you'd do: I'm good with grammar, and flow. Can't spell worth shit, but I can tell when the spell checker got something wrong. Though you might want to tell me if you want it in Canadian or American spelling, and yes there is a difference. I can do some in-character stuff but I'm pretty fast and loose with my characters, so you'd have to tell me how in-character you'd want them. Also how 'mean' I can hit every thing, but that's not always what you're looking for. Tell me if you do or do not want suggestions about actual content, not just flow and holes but ideas and actual plot help.
Length of the fics you'd beta: Not Novel length. Anything else is good, but your time-line has to fit. I have exams starting so for now the shorter the better, towards the summer I will have more time for longer works.
WIP's - I have a slight peeve with writer who start with little or no intention to finish, therefore I will be a nagging Beta. If I feel that you have given up.
Deadlines - Are your own problem, Tell me and I will do my best. but like every thing in life the time you put into something is what you get back.
Personally - I'm not much of a detail person, I read with my imagination if that make sense and I can follow dialogue which hasn't made sense to other people, so If you need help in these areas i would suggest finding another beta. But I'm always willing to try.
