I read almost exclusively McShep, so I'm particularly aware of cliched and worn out McShep stuff. I feel there's room for all kinds of writers and everyone should write the kind of story they like and I' be happy to help you make your story just a tad better, or run over it to make sure there's nothing seriously wrong with it.
