Last night the hubby and I decided to try the sour apple martinis after the baby went to sleep. We each had 1 drink and then the power went out. It's really a good thing we only had 1, since I don't think it would have been very much fun trying to navigate the house in the dark being tipsy.

*giggles* Ohhh navigation is not my strong point after alcohol, whether it is dark or light. I generally count on other people to guide me...the only thing I do do is pole dance once I hit a certain level of inebriation and at that level no stationary object is safe.

I'm one of those friendly drunks who thinks everything is funny. And I'm sure that after a certain amount of alcohol I could totally be convinced to pole dance ;)

Glad to know I'm not the only one who spent a fair part of my weekend searching out alcohol. *grin*

Whenever I figure out what went into the Wormhole X-tremes I was drinking at the Stargate party I was at, I'll post it. I may never figure it out completely, since I think I had 4 different colors of said drink. "Here ya go, a Wormhole X-treme. In 38 minutes you won't feel a thing." Oh, how right that statement was...

The sg-command.net folks hosted a Stargate party at Dragon*Con Sunday night. They have some wicked bartenders.

Let's see, there were generous amounts of rum and vodka in each one, with a splash of ginger ale. That at least was a constant. Then pick your color - blue punch, red punch, cranberry juice, or blue punch/orange juice were the different colors I had. There may have been other colors, but I cut myself off at 4, I think. Things were a little fuzzy after the third color...
