The AUs were an interesting experiment. Glad you liked 'em, and the story.

This is painfully gorgeous, and the resolution at the end is perfect for the two of them--accommodating the other's culture, and understanding it. Brilliant.

Thank you for the lovely compliments. :) I did want to mirror FIAD, so that poor Daniel couldn't quite tell what was Sha're's vision and what was his own fevered dreams. I actually was very unsure of Daniel seeing things from Teal'c's POV and vice versa, but I think it turned out okay in the end. And while Daniel's had a lifetime of experience in dealing with other cultures, Teal'c has had to deal with the very steep learning curve of life among the Tau'ri. So - yeah. I do think it's them.
Watergun battles are always an exception! :)
I'm really glad you liked it.

Heh. People always postulate that the grass is greener on the other side of the quantum mirror. By its very definition, infinite universes means that somewhere, things turned out even worse.
We do have quasi-canon proof that at least one Daniel got his happy ending - in one of the cut scenes from S9's Ripple Effect, a Daniel tells our Mitchell that he and his wife were on Abydos, trying to capture a Prior. So yes, Sha're could have been saved. But the paths that would lead to her rescue weren't under Teal'c or Daniel's control, and that's what Daniel could accept here - and Teal'c couldn't.
I do agree that FIAD could've been longer, in that it would've been fantastic to see repercussions other than the tiny flashback from The Devil You Know. And I'm very glad you liked my version of the aftermath. :)

This is just utter brilliance--so strong. Your writing's gone up a huge, huge step to pull off something that's this beautifully woven.

And thanks for encouraging me to take the plunge into a different kind of writing style. I don't call you Queen of Betas for nothing. :)

But I think you get all the credit for going in to the deep end on your own--with a swan dive, not a belly flop.
