Awwwwww. Been having fun taking in the sights in your archive today. :) Blows to the face and eyes, indeed! Wonder what would happen if you combined LASIK with the effects of repeated ribboning? Poor Daniel. Lovely banter-through-pain moment for the both of them.

I don't blame him, though. Been wearing glasses since I was 7, I think I don't know what I'd do without them!

Oooh, good point. LASIK and ribbon devices... ::shudder::

I'm all for contact lenses at the right time, but if I had Daniel's job, I'd stay away from them unless I'm planning to assassinate old flames. ;)

Heh. In this case, the no-LASIK info was courtesy of Ivory Gates. I do love how canon vs. fanon discussions go in so many interesting directions!

And thank you - I do think this story might grow up, some day.
