Written for Time Travel Alphabet Soup, and rather unimaginatively titled. In a missing scene from Moebius, Sam argues with Daniel, or maybe with herself. 800 words. Rated PG, with a warning for canonical major character deaths.

Wow-I was increasingly confused about when this was because after the failed uprising, Sam didn't see Daniel again, but the alternate Sam couldn't have had this conversation with him.

And then it all made sense, but in the most painful way possible.

Painful, but right.

::nods:: Sam hijacked this one, really - I started it as an argument between Sam and Daniel before the rebellion. And then... this happened.

Ahh this is everything that didn't get explored nearly enough on the show and you did a fantastic job with it. Daniel always works so well as the conscience (even when he's not really there).

As a side note, wow, for such a funny episode, Moebius has certainly produced a LOT of really depressing fanfic.

Seriously, though, Moebius is like WoO: possibly amusing on the surface, but horribly dark when you start digging a little deeper.

Ouch! The argument is valid and reasonable on both sides, but the ending is so very painful.

There's no real answer to Moebius, is there? It's one of those eps that get ficced and ficced and ficced because we want the fic to, well, fix!
