Quarantine (G)

Another bingo entry, for the Soft square! Why, yes, it is stretching the prompt just a wee bit. :)

When the team is stuck in special quarantine, it's hard to find a way to pass the time. A little exploration of Jack's head space. About 1,100 words. Rated G.

Going a little SIR-crazy, are they? Sorry-Jack probably made that joke half an hour in.

I feel confined just reading about them!

::grins:: Yeah, the puns were probably flying pretty quickly in there!

Hope the confinement wasn't too smothering for you. Thanks for commenting, as always.

"Paper cuts can be deadly..."

I now want a story where they are...

Oh, someone wrote it already! Read niamaea's utterly hilarious Five alternate universes SG-1 has visited through the quantum mirror. The paper cut is the dramatic plot twist of #3.

Best send-up of fanon ever. :) But glad you enjoyed this, too!

Thanks for the link - I loved it (and what is scary is how much of the fanon I recognised, especially given I never ever read Jack/Sam... but the J/D and the kidfic and poor delicate darling Danny? Oh yeah)

I had no trouble recognizing each fanon trope either, although I certainly haven't read them all myself. But fun, yes. And poor Saint Daniel... heh heh heh. :)

Yes, that's exactly how they'd have spent the time and I'm interested in reading his report! Jack's mind can be a spooky place. ;)

They should never give Jack this much time to think! Would love to see his report to Hammond!

Jack thinks a lot more deeply than most people realize, heh. I wonder how much of that report would actually be in writing? :)

Thanks!
