The fourth in the On the Outside, Looking In series: episode-related drabbles from the perspective of an outsider or a minor character. There's one here for every episode from Season Four. Rated PG.
Heh, yes. I like to think they did tip well. After trashing the place, anyway...
As for the timing -- well, a lot of it was in place already. I just had the incentive to finish it in honor of the day. Thanks so much! I always appreciate your comments on these. :)
I like your explorations of different points of view in these stories, too. Still going through them slowly, savoring them. I bet Rammen wished Griff would go away! Ha!
very nice! I really like the Watergate one; it's neat to see how the guardians perceive the interlopers and how they go about figuring it out. and 2010: lol, poor walter! he has such a stressful job, and no one at the SGC ever appreciates it. some of them don't sound familiar -- it's definitely time for me to get on with my rewatch, which has been going slowly lately. I'm just at Watergate.
Thank you! It's interesting to pick an outside perspective on which to focus; some are more obvious than others, though. And can you get more outsider than Walter, sometimes? :) Glad you're enjoying these, and have a LOT of fun with your rewatch!
Poor Stephen! I always wondered what happened to him after the episode. Some postscripts I've read make him out to be the bad guy, and he certainly wasn't the nicest, but he didn't deserve what happened to him. (It seems to be very bad luck to be friends with Daniel, though worse luck to have been a girlfriend!)
::nods:: He had the honesty to admit that Daniel was right, even when he was half-conscious. I never saw him as a bad guy so much as a frustrated outsider.

Hee! Yeah, I once called it "the lethal touch of Daniel Jackson."
The Chain Reaction one was... er. Yes. A little creepy. I felt kinda dirty just writing it.

How on earth did you do this while organizing Gen Fic Day and Alphabet Soup and writing your own story for those?!
