I wanted to write some Jack fic, and asked for prompts. Here's the results: twelve Jack drabbles for your enjoyment! Eras range from pre-series to S6, with a very vague nod to S8 and beyond. Specific spoilers for Stargate: the Movie, COTG, Enemy Within, Singularity, and Abyss.

Summary: Twelve glimpses of Jack. 1,200 words. PG.

Wow! When you said you were going to write some Jack ficlets, I didn't expect so many. Brava!

Nice mix here of insightful, poignant, and funny. (I like funny best, at least this morning. Slinky! "I am having fun, sir."

I got twelve prompts, you got twelve drabbles. :)

The funny thing is that the lighter prompts were all over at DW. Well, except for the chihuahua, but you can't have everything. And heh, yes, that line of Sam wrote itself!

Jack without his voice! Oh, man, I pity the folks around him.

Is ther eany possiblity of that one being expanded? I would love to hear the tale of Jack, the Chief, and the chihuahua. ;D

I have no idea what happened with Jack and the chief and chihuahua. Perhaps you'd like to write it yourself!

Ooh, nice job! I love the instinct one, because really, one could not just "play by the rules" when dealing with all that they have to deal with out there. Jack's gut instinct is instrumental to SG-1's success.

::nods:: The rules absolutely do not work out there. It's a good thing Jack has those instincts (like, say, trusting Apophis' First Prime.)
