She can just picture the slight tilt to his head, that extra gleam of amusement that will come into his eyes as he answers her with grave courtesy.
is gorgeous, because I can just see it and it really warms my heart that she already knows him that well. I have a huge fondness for the friendship fic between Sam and Teal'c! (The way he looks at her with such open affection in the later seasons makes me want to squee so hard.)

I really like Daniel's take on the question: Teal'c thought Sam was male until he'd already fixed an impression of her. Of course, Daniel spins out lots of theories that he doesn't necessarily believe, just to test them.
You have an excellent contrast with Bra'tac--who also didn't show much respect for Daniel, at first.
So now I'm wondering if Sam ever asks Teal'c, or if she just forgets over time. . . .

Daniel and his theories, heh.
I think Sam and Teal'c do have that conversation. I see it happening in S6, probably after Paradise Lost and that hug. Happy sigh.
And thanks for the correction - I always appreciate it when you spot my mistakes!

And yes, Teal'c does support her all along, doesn't he? I just love their friendship.
Thanks!
