Wow. What happened to Daniel? Love your use of de-age trope and that Daniel is just like whatever in the face of house's house-ness. :D

Daniel was suffering from a mysterious, unspecified illness that causes, among other things, respiratory difficulties. I've got half a mind to expand this into a larger fic, in which case I'll go into more detail. Glad you liked! :D
