This is for curuchamion, who asked for "Jack O'Neill, tac vest." I'm not quite sure where this came from, but I hope you'll enjoy this anyway. And a very happy birthday. :)

Summary: The geeks make good tac vests, but they're no help if they're not actually worn. Jack and his thoughts in the wake of Heroes, with spoilers for that episode. ~730 words. PG.
