Ah-haha! The way Stargate makes pop culture references, this conversation is utterly believable! Now you've got me running through shows and news coverage in my mind, wondering what Jonas would make of it. Heh....

Well, if SG-1 is real, you can't help Jonas thinking that some of the more wild scenarios might be plausible, too. :) Thanks!

Poor Jonas! You'd think Teal'c might have caught on and explained a little sooner, but Teal'c was probably too amused.

Oh, I'm sure Teal'c deliberately fostered thoughts of an "alien conspiracy" just for the fun of it. ;) Thanks!

Bwahaha!

I'm loving everyone's different takes on Jonas' backstory and origin culture, and this is gleeful. With a show that references pop culture like there is no tomorrow and an episode which is essentially an X-Files copy (albeit totally SG-1 style), a confused alien and a put-upon Sam is pretty believable.

It must be poor Sam's turn anyway, seeing as I bet that Jack bore most of the brunt of Teal'c's cultural education ;-)

Heh, yes - way too much like the X-Files for me, that ep. But it was a fun one anyway. :)

I've always imagined Teal'c's cultural education to be a not-so-quiet skirmish between Jack and Daniel for supremacy of classical myths and history versus The Simpsons and Star Wars... and that Jack obviously won!

This is awesome and fun! Jonas was so wide-eyed and naive compared to Teal'c, who seemed to question almost everything. Your last line is perfect!!! I adore your senses of humor & creativity!

Thank you! And yes, Jonas definitely possessed a naivete that years of being First Prime had definitely knocked out of Teal'c. Glad you enjoyed. :)
