A somewhat belated happiest of birthdays to abyssinia4077, co-mod and all-around wonderful person!

I regret to report that last year's birthday fic for Abyssis is still unfinished. Under the circumstances, the very least I can do is write fic for her icon prompt.

Must get me a Jonas icon!
I really liked this because I could feel the grief and guilt that Jonas felt (I always could). I mean, he was different and how would he get these strangers to trust him? Especially when it was as a result of what he did, whether imagined or not, that got Daniel killed (again! Or was that the first time? ;-))

Oh, it was his third at the very least, with two near-deaths that might have been actual deaths to add to the count. ;)

I'm glad Jonas' grief and guilt came through - it couldn't have been easy for him. Thanks!

Heh, yes - and the writers didn't help by making Jonas into not!Daniel instead of allowing him to be himself. Poor Jonas, finally finding his place just as S6 ends!
