Question: How'd you get Part 2 and Part 3 up in lj but they don't show up spamming the friends list? Is this one of your magic codes I haven't figured out yet?

::guesses:: Date-out-of-order, maybe? I think that even if the timestamp is overridden by only a minute or two, it keeps the post from showing up on friends view. But I wouldn't be surprised if there's a really cool super sekrit magic code ... *g*

(love this opening, Fig Newton ... moving on to next part ... )

Yep, date-out-order. Any super sekrit magic codes in LJ-Land are quite out of my repertoire! :)

I didn't care much for where I had to cut off the sections here - they're not exactly chapters, and a third of this scene has to take place in part 2. Silly LJ and its entry limits!

Glad you're liking it so far. :)

Yes, paian got it right. Only that was an accidental useful side effect. :) I was playing with the time stamps on the entries because I wanted them to be in sequential order on my LJ instead of backwards, and when you edit the time, there's a clicky box you can tick that ensures LJ won't sulk about the timestamp on the posts. The ticky box also ensures that the entries won't show up on friends' lists or comms.

I can't see me needing this again in the near future, because I can't see me writing such a LONG fic again in the near future! But it's good to know. :)

Nice set-up for a Wonder Twins team-up with the translating and the math. The only time I remember the show doing this was in the case of that floating mine that they had to reprogram ("Trust me, it's a math thing, zero is a big deal."). I kind of wished they would re-use that type of scenario for another ep later, but I don't think they ever did.

*moves on the part 2*

Yay, glad you liked it! It was what I most wanted - Daniel and Sam really working to solve a puzzle together. And yes, I loved that line from Serpent's Venom with the zeroes, when they had literally put their heads together to figure things out!
