Thanks for doing this, Fig! I wanted to contribute, but I've been quite overwhelmed. I actually got an idea for a Vala story, but I still have to work out some important bits (like how it ends).

I'm far too late with this, but one more link to an old story (that people probably know; it won an award! :-) ): "My Dinner with Vala", my version of the first time Jack meets Vala.
