Happy Gen Fic Day!
Welcome to our ninth round of SG-1 Gen Fic Day, and join us in celebrating SG-1 and gen!
Comment here with links to new fic and older fic, recs, meta, picspam, vids: anything, as long as it's gen and related to SG-1. Spur-of-the-moment commentfic is welcome, too. :)

As part of SG-1 Gen Fic Day, we are also serving spicy Vala Alphabet Soup. (Links to previous Alphabet Soups are here.) If you're contributing ingredients (that is, writing a ficlet) for Vala Alphabet Soup, please read the instructions before posting your link.
All fic recs are welcome, of course, but in honor of Vala Alphabet Soup, we are specifically seeking older Vala gen fic. If you've written gen Vala fic in the past, or have a particular favorite Vala story you want to rec, please leave a comment with a link. Shameless self-promotion is welcome, too!
(Ordinarily, we ask that you don't re-link to a story of your own that's been listed at previous Gen Fic Days, but if it's a Vala-centric fic, we'll make an exception.)
Sometime tomorrow, I'll post a round-up of all the Gen Fic Day links as well as the complete anthology of Vala Alphabet Soup.
