Can we go for both? Vala Action Figure Theater (sorry, I grew up 'Murcan) and a separate Alphabet Soup? Not that I'm greedy or anything... :)

I just sent a separate e-mail accepting the last-minute challenge and the letter K. :-)

Inspiration has struck, and a (blatantly obvious) k-word is screaming, "Do MEEEE!" Actually, a couple of words are battling for supremacy, so tomorrow we'll all see which word emerges as the victor. I'll work on a zip-fic tonight and should be ready to post something short tomorrow. Hopefully not TOO punny. :-)

Thank you, Merry! I've already asked acarlgeek to take Grav's letter, so it's a big help to know that there's another backup available if necessary. Let's hope no one else backs out, and you'll just write us extra Vala fic instead! :)

Merry, can you do H? The original writer might be able to get it done in time but is afraid she won't make it. I'd rather have an extra ficlet than be missing one. :) Thanks!

I can be a back-up, too. That might mean fewer than 26 different authors, but at least it'd get all the letters finished if anyone else has to drop out.
