I loved this! Daniel sooo deserves a chance to just study and absorb sometimes... and yes, Teal'c would let him.

And as one of My Other Heroes said... "all knowledge is useful." :)

It's hilarious how the characters often speak for themselves. At the beginning, I expected Teal'c to either blackmail Daniel ("I require prime tickets to The Phantom Menace, Daniel Jackson.") or imply that he was going to tell the others. But Teal'c had other ideas. :)

I'm not sure I needed this as much in January as I do today! Yay for Daniel and Teal'c! When they conspire, no one else has a chance (even if Daniel doesn't always know they're conspiring).

I was so pleased that Daniel and Teal'c ended up conspiring with one another! I hadn't actually expected it. Teal'c is so awesome he can conspire all by himself! :)

A prompt? Gee whiz, you're the second person this week to ask me for one! I'm bowled over that people want to write fic for me, and even want prompts, but if I had specific ideas, I'd probably be writing them!

Having said that . . . I've been thinking about Janet and Jack and Daniel, apropos of your analysis on redial_the_gate this week, and would love a good fic with the three of them.

Hee! Daniel and Teal'c conspiracy is awesome. I like how you show the build up to Daniel's petulance by mentioning the last couple of missions where he couldn't do anything archeological and so this was as much revenge as anything (with unknown Teal'c approval!)

P.S. I still have icon ficlets due from over around a year, so I understand your pain.

I didn't want Daniel to be too childish about it, so the revenge thing worked out better. With unknown Teal'c approval for the win! :)

How nice of Teal'c backing Daniel up in his attempt to study something new at his leisure. He knew that Jack would rush them out of there and leave it for a science team to come back and study it all. Teal'c a good guy and this is a good story on team dynamics.
