Five drabbles. Five fix-its that didn't happen to Sam, Daniel, Jack, Teal'c, and Jonas.

one_prompt's second challenge: Well? Can you fix it? Includes specific spoilers for Full Circle, 1969, and Meridian, with a bit of random Jack and Sam friendship and pre-series Teal'c and Bra'tac thrown in for good measure.

These are lovely. A nice mix of lightness and drama.
You know, if you ever wanted to follow up on it, I could see how you could turn your fifth one into a larger story to really explore that situation.

I think you're right about #5 - it would be fascinating to try to explore Meridian from his POV. I'm going to have to get to know Jonas a little better, though. Maybe after finishing S6, I'll be ready to write him properly - this drabble was my first-ever attempt!

If you ever want to bounce ideas around for a longer story, I'll be happy to be a sounding board.

And thank you - I'll keep your offer in mind, if and when the time comes.

Poor Jack. He is just not good with electronic equipment, is he?
Daniel in Full Circle is really powerful. Can't believe how much you fit into a drabble!
1969--love the humor as well as the urgency you capture.
Teal'c and Bra'tac--of course Teal'c couldn't figure out how to fix the gods' magic devices, but it's quite a lesson Bra'tac's teaching to to gauge his apprentice's abilities.
Meridian--oh, so heartbreaking. We don't see much of Jonas's change of heart, and I think you developed it wonderfully here.

Glad you liked all of them! And aren't you impressed with how Redial is turning me into a Jonas fan? That comm is magic, I tell you!

Yay, redial! See, don't say ka until you've tried it!

Jack fixing the bus! Daniel losing Abydos! And Bra'tac for good measure? Pretty much the definition of awesome.

And yeah, Bra'tac is pretty much the definition of awesome, in any case. :)

(Drabbles are oddly addictive, I must confess.)
