Yesterday, I offered to take ten prompts for drabbles. Nobody is more surprised than me that I've actually done all ten!

These range from pre-series through S9. I've put them in chronological order, more or less. Expect spoilers throughout the series, and there are specific episode tags for Thor's Hammer, Revelations, Abyss, Evolution, and an AU ( Read more... )

Oh, you so did intend that pun! :)

I looked it up - Qetesh is actually the common spelling. In fact, Q is often used for phonetic K in translation from Semitic languages, and I say that from experience!

These are great. Daniel Ascended really gets to me, and the Teal'c and Nyan conversation had me in stitches. Yay!

Thanks! The idea of Ascended!Daniel having a different awareness of time is something I've been toying with for a long time now, so I'm pleased it worked for you.

These are all very interesting, thought provoking, and enjoyable! I found the one you did for me particularly interesting as I never thought of the first trip to Cimmeria as a failed mission, more like a mission with mixed results and a real downside for Daniel. Very interesting, indeed!

Oh, I'm so glad you liked it - it's definitely one of my own favorites! :)

I agree that the first trip to Cimmeria wasn't so much a failure as the beginning of their connection with the Asgard, but to Teal'c and Daniel? They definitely would've both seen it as a spectacular failure.

Good point! As audience, we kind of take it as a whole, but from the point of view of individual characters, each mission might mean something entirely different. Hmmm... I'm going to have to think about that for a bit. Might be something there I can use. ;)
