Out of Step (G)

I've been working on a rather depressing fic, but it's proving difficult. So you all get this silly fluff instead. :)

thraesja asked, way back in January, about the training exercise that Daniel mentions in Proving Ground -- the one which prompts him to say, "I like this scenario way better than the last one," and "You did tell them to take me prisoner ( Read more... )

ten for the team, my sg-1 fic

Heh, Janet should be worried, not laughing. ;) And yet, Daniel still got shot in the next one! :)

Of course Daniel got shot in the next one! :D

Eh, Janet knows they get serious enough when it's the real thing. So yeah, I'd laugh too. ;)

Janet is a wise woman, to lock herself in-and one with great self-control, to hold it so long! Oh, poor woobie Daniel! (You don't normally actually write Woobie Daniel!)

As someone who has broken a few bones herself (including a rib), I didn't want to laugh-but I couldn't help it.

Seriously, though: I can't imagine they actually learned anything from this fiasco.

::sporfles:: Is he still Woobie!Daniel if he's not all noble and forgiving? Gratuitiously whumped!Daniel, now that I'll grant you. ;)

Of course they didn't learn anything from this! After all, they're SG-1. :) Glad you liked it!

Does one have to be "noble and forgiving" to be woobie? Because if that's true, then there's really no such thing as woobie Rodney McKay, though I thought I had read a little of that!

Just want to be sure I have my definitions straight here. I am a word person, after all!

'Tis an interesting question, to be sure.

When I think "woobie Daniel," I think of poor helpless Daniel, who needs a babysitter/cuddler to make sure he doesn't trip over his own two feet. And yes, that he is noble and brave and forgiving in the face of danger, and recites "I'm fine" at least once an hour.

And now I am hugely intrigued by this, and will be posting a poll about this shortly. See what you started?! :)
