Summary: If you're going to drown your frustrations in alcohol, you might as well drink something worthwhile. Jack and Bra'tac, in a missing scene from Sacrifices in S8. ~660 words. Rated G.

Yay! Oh, I love this line:

"To Teal'c and Ry'ac" Bra'tac raised his own glass in salute. "May Ry'ac repay Teal'c for everything he has ever done to me."

That is so perfect. Love this missing scene.

Oh, you just know Bra'tac is secretly sniggering every time Ry'ac drives Teal'c up the wall... :)

I love this ficlet! I totally hear Bra'tac and Jack in my mind's ear, and I love your mix of humor and seriousness.

I laughed out loud at this despite my attempt to be quiet so as not to disturb Small Child falling asleep:

I'm double glad to hear it rang true for you, then, because I've never tasted scotch in my life and I was totally winging it. :)

Can't you just see Bra'tac looking smug every time Teal'c complains about "kids today"?

Well, it's a fine scotch, and an excellent choice for one that is being described as smooth. There are others that are more flavorful, but not everyone goes for a really peaty scotch, so... very good choice here. :) Either you did some fine research, or someone who knows scotch suggested it. ;)

Not only am I amused by the same line that the others commented upon, but I adore your last line! This is a perfect missing scene for Sacrifices and is completely in character with Jack and Bra'tac. Entertaining, indeed!
