Lol! I figured out what was going on when the priest talked about the worm, but had forgotten all the details. It was good of Sam and Daniel to recap some of it for me! :) I was just dying for a new story to read--thanks!

Oh man--I think I laughed aloud when Daniel said "crysknife" and bounced a little. Not sure whether or not I think Daniel reads and watches sci-fi, but it's not unbelievable and it's so awesomely fun to have him bounce it around with Sam. And this, here...

"The fearsome worms do not honk," he declared.

Ahahaha! I definitely laughed aloud there, so it's a good thing I'm the only one at work yet :)

While I, too, doubt that Daniel is a real sci-fi fan, Dune is a cult phenomenon and is credited even more than Asimov with making sci-fi mainstream. It's a geek thing more than a sci-fi thing, I think .

"Looks like Lynch didn't do a very good job of visualization," Sam said critically.

"The shape of the blade isn't bad," Daniel countered. His shoulders twitched, as if he wanted to wave his hands around in argument.

"Did you hear that they're making a mini-series next year? Maybe that one will be more true to the -"

Spot on with their voices! I could actually hear them go back and forth. Well done.

I love Sam and Daniel in Wonder Twins mode! They were lots of fun to write, and I'm glad you enjoyed reading it. :)
