Wonderful look at the Sha'uri we know she had to be! And I loved the emphasis on Daniel's glasses and the tie-in to the eye of Ra, that's a great point. Good job, great read!

Thanks! That bit with Daniel's glasses - it always bothers me when fanfic writers have off-worlders see his glasses as a sign of weakness. Why should they, after all? So I'm very glad that particular bit worked for you. :)

I think people kind of jump on what Jack did in 'Prisoners', removing Daniel's glasses. But he was coming from an Earth perspective where glasses can often be perceived as weakness.

::nods:: Yes, Jack saw glasses as a sign of weakness, but there's no indication anyone else did - and, in fact, hiding Daniel's glasses didn't help, did it?

I love the glasses insight (pardon the pun), but so many great little details. And there are never enough Abydos stories.
