I had to read through it again when I got to the last line, but you put an interesting spin on to whom the adjective "purple" belongs--if the beast was purple, I don't think he'd be as scary! very enjoyable!!

:) There's apparently a great deal of discussion regarding what is actually modified by "purple." But since the lyrics include the phrase "eating purple people," it does seem more likely that it's the people that are purple, and not the eater. (Mind you, I had to look this all up...)

You never know - a purple beast would be pretty creepy, if you ask me!
