Title: Pulling Pigtails

Challenge #45: "An annoyance" ("Why do you have to be so irritating?" optional)

Summary: Vala is easily bored. Daniel tries not to care.
Daniel gritted his teeth as Vala once again started futzing with his artifacts. "Put that down," he snapped as she started fondling a fragile clay jar.
His own personal annoyance made a face and pulled her hands away. "Daniel, I'm bored," she whined. "I want to get away from this stupid base and go exploring."
"You should've thought of that before you cuffed us together," he countered, resisting the urge to pull at the tight gold wristband again. "You said you know how to take these things off, unless you were lying about that, and you'd damn well better not have."
"Relax, darling, I'll take them off when I'm satisfied." She leaned over the table, revealing an absolutely unnecessary display of cleavage. "Of course, there are other things I'd be willing to take off for our mutual satisfaction..."
He rolled his eyes. "I am not going to have sex with you. How many times do I have to say it before you start believing me?"
"At least once more."
Daniel closed his eyes and counted to ten in Sanskrit. "Why do you have to be so irritating?"
She grinned. "It's in my job description."
