It was originally going to be really sad, actually. But Daniel refused to make it so angsty, so it ended up being more fun than I'd planned. Going out with a bang instead of a whimper, I suppose.

Oooooh - I love this! It's cute and funny -- and potentially a little sad, but Sam and Daniel seem to be handling it well.

As she mentioned, sg_fignewton linked to this at ever_after for inclusion in the rec list. paian and I are mostly using that for older stories, because we're hoping authors will come link to their new stuff straight on the comm and get all the heaps of love and praise they deserve.

By which I mean, can I interest you in coming and posting a link back to your story? This is exactly the kind of fic we've been looking for, and so we'd love to see you pimp it; and actually, as of right now - you'd be the first person who is not me or paian to make a new post! This is a great fic to get the ball rolling. *eyebats*

Of course, we'll rec you anyway, if you'd rather not post yourself -- assuming that's okay -- but, like I said, we'd love to see it from you. :-D

aw, funny and yes a bit poignant to consider what that it might be like for them to see their own action figures. something tells me they'd regret showing them to jack. *veg*

Yeah, Jack has always struck me as the kind of guy who would go into a toy store and press every Try Me button he sees. ;)
