I really rushed this out for Gen Fic Day, and it showed a little, so I went back in and tweaked the timing in a couple of places, changed a couple of clips, took out a stray frame and worked on the lighting a bit. Not hugely different, but improved, at least to my way of looking at things

Wow. That was intense. A few too many close calls and Daniel-deaths for me! He wrings my heart over and over again--but I liked the way you included things that weren't really a literal death. I think the scene with Sha're was what kicked me in the heart hardest, actually.

Yeah, that's hard to watch, isn't it? I'm the anti-whumper, so I find that kind of traumatic.

I was focusing on how not invincible Daniel is, and on his perseverence in the face of it all. He is pretty hard to kill, though, one must admit. ;) I was wondering if that scene with Sha're read the way I intended it to. I'm very glad to know that it did!
