West Highland Way - Day 1

After a lovely drive yesterday to Milngavie (we stopped off at a tiny little place with fabulous views over Morecambe Bay and toured around a national trust castle) today was time to put on the boots and get walking

Still round the corner there may wait
A new road or a secret gate,
And though we pass them by today,
Tomorrow we may come this way
And take the hidden paths that run
Towards the Moon or to the Sun.
