Bledisloe Cup Hong Kong-bound I'm sorry but WTF?! WHY are they sending the most hotly contested rugby match away from either Australia OR New Zealand?! Especially when we're the participating countries.
I DON'T UNDERSTAND.
On top of that, there's the whole number of matches thing. We had to deal with only TWO Bledisloe matches for YEARS when it first became part of the Tri-Nations Tournament (something a lot of people disagreed with - me included - because, hello, what happens when you win a match apiece?). We've only JUST (as of last year I think?) got it back to the 'normal' 3 matches for Bledisloe...
...so now they're introducing a fourth match!?
Oh, and not only THAT but the rest of the Bledisloe Cup will be played in June/July/August as part of the Tri-Nations, like it normally is... but they're going to have this Hong Kong match in NOVEMBER?!
There is so much whatthefuck I... I can't even.
ETA: Apologies to the newbies on the f-list. I don't post about sports often, but rugby union is the one sport I WILL post about.
