Please sign up here to volunteer to make banners. We'll need someone to make banners for the winners of each challenge. The more people who sign up, the better.
Thank you for organising this and doing this and being all yaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!! This time, I shall remember not to accidentally abuse apostrophes in the Mods' Choices. XD
LOL! You realize, I hope that I am probably the only person who notices these things. I took three too many grammar courses in my school days. Not that one would know it from my typos.
You're more than welcome for the organizing. I get so much happiness out of it and in making so many fandom friends. It's all good. :)
Ahhh, but you see, I notice these too, and I cringe at the thought of all those banners of apostrophe abuse! I still maintain that it was all because the first Mod's Choice was a Mod's Choice, and so I got in the groove of it all and made the consequent banners Mod's Choices, even though they were clearly Mods' Choices and the realisation was actually one of the most embarrassing experiences of my life. Yes, I can just imagine going to a job interview and being asked that question, and responding with, "Well, I volunteered as a banner-maker for an online graphics challenge, and realised after several weeks of creating these banners that I had misplaced the apostrophes."
And yay fandom friends! Fandom friends are yay!! :D :D ♥
You're correct; the first challenge that round WAS a mod's choice and so it's understandable. I'm chuckling over the idea of banners coming up during an interview. I completely understand being mortified because that would be my reaction, too, because I take pride in my grammar knowledge. I may not be a gifted writer but I grasp the intricacies of English grammar, damn it.
I'm not a naturally outgoing** person so making fandom friends through this comm has been particularly happy for me. I love how I've gotten to know so many folks I never would have if I'd stuck to just my little OTP corner of fandom.
** "not naturally outgoing" being a euphemism for "crippling shyness" and "profoundly introspective"
(My excitement calls for epic capslock abuse, okay? :DDDDDDDDDDD)
