1. They went out for beers, and they reminisced (“Remember Urgo?” “Shut up, Daniel”), and they laughed, and at the end of the night they did this massive group-hug thing they’d never really done before and spread out simultaneously to find their cars in the parking lot.

They didn’t look back.

2. It was rushed and hurried, catching each other individually, on the run, and therefore totally dissatisfying.

3. They had no need to say good-bye. And even if Jack preferred snail mail, and Daniel invariably forgot to check his voice mail, and Sam’s spelling was atrocious if it didn’t involve words involving four syllables and/or the periodic table, and Teal’c didn’t exactly have cell phone reception where he was going, they knew they’d keep in touch.

4. They didn’t actually say good-bye. Words seemed a little…inadequate. So Sam went to Area 51, and Teal’c to rebuild the Free Jaffa Nation, and Daniel to Atlantis, Cameron and Vala took up space-pirating together, and Jack finally, really retired ( ... )

So good and teamy!

I can envisage each one, painful, like the hard goodbyes they are.

With a bit of fun!(“Remember Urgo?” “Shut up, Daniel”) lol

Thank you! And yeah, I can see each one too (but I think #5 is my personal favorite.) ;)

Oh, wow. Your icon's a little creepy when you just catch it moving out of the corner of your eye...

They need a do-over on #2.

I like #3 the best - because of course they'll keep in touch. Or plan to.

Cam and Vala as space pirates? That so works for me!
