1. The Abydonians never uncovered the gate a year later. Daniel was too busy at home with Sha're and their son, Jack. They lived out the rest of their lives peacefully.
2. Daniel stayed Ascended, never interfering with Anubis, just...nudging things a little so SG-1 would win out. His horror at Abydos being destroyed was balanced by having the people he loved on the same plane as he was. Six months later, he helped Jack and together they changed all the rules that had been in place. They now spend their time wandering the universe.
3. With the defeat of the Goa'uld, Daniel had only one goal in mind, Atlantis. Jack let him go. Daniel didn't question it, just packed and went. When the Deadelus arrived a year later, he wasn't surprised to see Jack disembarking with a grin.
