1. He thinks that Daniel will choose death over ascension next time. He’s completely and utterly wrong. Daniel Jackson will never choose death if there is an honorable alternative.

2. He thinks that he seduced Daniel. That’s what Daniel wants him to think.

3. He thinks that Daniel loves that thing he does with his tongue. That’s not why Daniel bites his lip.

4. He thinks that Daniel could never love him. He’s in for a surprise one day soon.

5. He thinks that Daniel is in love with someone else, and that that someone is more than likely General O’Neill. He’s right, but that won’t ruin the surprise.
