Aunt Mary. His father’s little sister. A nice long smack right on the corner of her smiling mouth. She’s always been a constant in his life, and he makes it a point to be a constant in hers.

Carter. Sam. Yeah, she’s had a few herself, and her giggle is entrancing. Jack could almost giggle himself, because he hasn’t felt this sense of freedom in decades. He strokes her cheek afterwards and they smile into each other’s eyes ( ... )

And the kiss with Vala is great - I can really see the two of them.

Vala and Jack are both outwardly wacky with hidden depths. I think they'd be great friends. :-)
