1. Sheppard’s still trying to find Ford. Lorne’s not sure that’s exactly a secret, but the star chart with possible sightings recorded on it probably is. Lorne found it buried in a sub-folder of the military admin drive, labeled ‘interplanetary migration of wooly mammoths,’ which isn’t the greatest cover ever, but then, no-one but Lorne and Sheppard ever get that deep into the admin files. If Sheppard’s noticed that Lorne’s added three possible sightings, he hasn’t mentioned it yet ( ... )

Wonderful insights into John! I really like three, that's chilling and perfect. And I am so intrigued by four I almost can't stand it.

These are lovely - I'm particularly fond of #1 - I don't think he will ever stop looking.

1. The small balcony that Sheppard retreats to whenever they lose another member of the expedition. Lorne found it by accident once when looking for his own place to grieve. Now his place to grieve is just out of sight of that balcony, where he can make sure no one else discovers the secret. Except Rodney, Ronon, and Teyla, of course - they knew before him ( ... )

I love #4 so much, it's so true. And that Lorne's looking after Sheppard in the first few.

Thank you. I think the father in Joe really comes out whenever Torren's around and that gives John some fatherhood issues.
