I usually use 'Mitchell' and 'Carter' myself when I'm prompting, but as mods we go with the wording the prompter uses. ::thwaps the ptb for picking similar character names so often:: Glad you caught it in time!
'Five conversations Sam and Jack never had' would be a good prompt too. If you started writing it, save what you have and put the prompt in the pool! You'll be ahead of the game when the prompt posts later. :-)
They never discussed why General O'Neill hadn't told Mitchell that the old SG-1 had disbanded. There were quite a few things, actually, that Mitchell never asked the General, like how to get Teal'c's respect, or how to get back on Sam's good side when he had screwed up, or whether Jackson and Carter really *were* punking him when they implied O'Neill was his Daddy. He looked enough like his father to be sure. Mostly. On the few occasions he found himself alone with the General, he never brought up Jack's mini-me or inquired whether they stayed in contact. (That report he had read *three* times

Love the listing of all the unasked questions -- I'm curious about a lot of them too -- and that they never do get asked. And this is totally pathetic and reflects only on me and not on your list, but I have to tell you that it took me three readings of Or that he knew where her mole was before Jack did to realize that it wasn't talking about a spy Carter had planted in Washington to keep her informed about Jack's activities, or somewhere in the SGC for some other reason. My dirty mind is falling down on the job here in a major way! Or maybe I've just been watching too many spy thrillers or something. *g*

"I fail to see how that's any of your business, Colonel."
"I'm sorry, sir, and I swear, I won't breathe a word about it but I just don't see how you managed it. I mean, he keeps dying!"
"You get used to it."
2. "So, you and Sam...?"
"Just gossip, Colonel. You know how it is in the service."
"There's pictures, sir. Of PX7 118."
"Oh. Does my ass look fat?"
3. "So, you and Teal'c...?"
"You have a problem with that, Colonel?"
"No sir, I'm actually kind of impressed. Proportional?"
"Well, let's just say that's not a Goa'uld in his pocket."
4. "So, you and Vala...?"
"Trust me, not my idea."
"Trust me, sir, I believe you."
"When you see her next, try and get my watch back."
5. "So, you and me...?"
"You asking what I think you're asking, Colonel?"
"I can't tell you that, sir."
"Glad to hear it. Did Daniel mention that problem with my knees..."
