Interesting story....
While I do agree that country is different...I am still skeptical, as prior to WWII Jewish population was very big in Germany. And influenced all of the spheres of everyday life, from architecture and music to politics. But that didn't prevent them from being expelled from country and taken to work/death camps.
I have been to Germany and I will say that I liked it there, it is beautiful country....however personally there is too much history for me to want to live there permanently
